REALIZATION OF ELECTRIC MOTOR DRIVE OF 35 MW HOT WATER BOILER

This paper presents the basic and complex protections of an induction motor, as well as their application on a specific project example. Also, the connection of protection components in the Eplan software program is shown. The application of frequency converters with generated protection functions is presented. The review of the application of programmable logic controllers in automation systems of electric motor drives is given, as well as the implementation of SCADA systems for easier management and visualization of the electric motor drive itself.
