Abstract

The project task is to build two static systems and compare them together with the system without shear walls, which was processed in bachelors thesis. The number of floors of the building is basement + ground floor + 4 floors. In total, three different static systems with identical geometry. The first object (model III), made in bachelors thesis is without shear walls for receiving horizontal forces, the second object (model I) contains shear walls only in the Y direction and beams are missing in that direction, the third object (model II) in both direction have shear walls so that the beams are completely removed from the structure, and the seismic force is accepted by the shear walls.
