ASSESSMENT AND REPAIR OF BEARING RC STRUCTURE OF "RADNIČKI UNIVERZITET" BUILDING IN NOVI SAD FROM THE 2nd TO THE 7th FLOOR

The paper consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with the effects of fire on high-rise buildings. The assessment of multi-storey "Radnički univerzitet" building, located in Novi Sad, was carried out in the practical part. In order to determine the level and cause of damages, as well as the type of repairing measures, the detail visual inspection of structural elements was undertaken. The large number of defects and damages has been detected. Based on the analysis of those damages and defects and nondestructive material testing, the repair measures were suggested in order to improve the durability of RC structures.
