Abstract

The paper contains the design project of multi-storey masonry hotel building (Bsmt+GF+4) in Bor, according to Eurocode standards. The seismic response of a masonry building was assessed by conducting a nonlinear static- pushover analysis, on a spatial model formed of equivalent frames. The behaviour of the object was monitored during the gradual increase of seismic load (soil acceleration) with the use of „AmQuake“ software, in order to determine the limit value of acceleration for which the structure has a satisfactory response. Overstrength factor (OSR), ductility (μ) and behaviour factor (q) values were calculated and compared with values obtained in the software and with those given in Eurocode.
