Abstract

The development of information technologies has influenced the faster and more rapid development of all activities, especially those that are related to it. Event marketing today, precisely because of the existence of information technologies, differs in many ways from what it used to be in the last century. Traditional marketing postulates are still present, but in an amended form. Adequate use of all media, traditional and modern, can increase the visibility and promotion of an event, and when it comes to an event in the field of information technology, the target group is the one to which the promotion itself must adapt and approach in an adequate way.
