Abstract

The paper studies the general design of the Petrovaradin sewerage system. A hybrid sewerage system was adopted, consisting of a general sewerage system of the lower parts of Petrovaradin and a system for collecting wastewater from Mišeluk, Bukovac and parts of Petrovaradin. The system is designed so that when there is no precipitation, the condition of the degree of fulfillment is fulfilled. When precipitation occurs every two years, there is no pressure flow in the system, and precipitation with a frequency of once in twenty years can cause floods. The simulation of the operation of the part of the sewerage system of Petrovaradin (area of Petrovaradin and Mišeluk) was performed with the help of the software package EPA SWMM5.1. Based on the results of the analysis, a situational plan of the sewerage network of the observed parts of the system was formed.
