Abstract

The main topic of the paper is the cascadeд structure of the servo drive with a DC motor. Theoretical framework including mathematical modeling of DC motor is given, as well as the theory regarding the automatic control of the DC drive. Analysis and synthesis of the control structure in DC servo drive is given to obtain the superior transient performances. Verification of the theoretical considerations is given by extensive simula­tional and experimental tests on the simulational model and microprocessor based system, respectively.
