THE ROLE OF THE MEDIA IN PUBLIC RELATIONS
Abstract
The paper discusses the role of the media in public relations, on the example of media advocacy in promoting the need for vaccination against the COVID-19 virus. Examples of promotional campaigns aimed at vaccinating young people against the COVID-19 virus are given, during which the best tactics in relations with the media were used. The results of the research indicated that there was a certain distrust in the media information about the development of corona disease, and especially in the reports on the need for vaccination against this disease.
