ROBUST EFFICIENCY CONTROLLER IN SYNCHRONOUS MACHINE ELECTRIC VEHICLE DRIVES

Theoretical analysis of low voltage permanent magnet synchronous motor model as well as it’s energy analysis was presented. Two advanced control approaches were discussed: efficiency maximization by LMC, and maximum torque per ampere strategy. The advantages of the presented algorithms were thoroughly discussed. Verification of the theoretical considerations were given through the simulations. Performance evaluation of the energy optimized traction drive was given and corresponding conclusions were derived.
