Abstract

In this peper, the basic types of wave energy conversion systems are presented. Special emphasis is placed on point absorber systems based on buoy element with linear generator as main component of the electrical subsystem. Furthermore, in paper is presented the mathematical model of linear synchronous permanent magnet generator, for the purpose of simulation model created in MATLAB software environment. Also, the analysis of the simulation responses is given, which was used for comparation with other point absorber in the conclusion.
