QUALITY OF DIMENSIONAL AND GEOMETRIC CHARACTERISTICS OF PLASTIC INJECTION MOLDED PRODUCTS

Abstract

The Product with given manufacturing tolerances is impossible to imagine without the use of coordinate measuring systems in the verification process in development phase of the product. Based on the measuring the functional dimensions as special characteristics of the product is shown process capability. This paper aimed to determine and evaluate the quality of dimensional and geometric characteristics of the product during life cycle. The results showed that coordinate measuring system, as well as the measuring system in general, are an unavoidable segment of the product life cycle.
