OXY-ACETYLENE THERMAL COLD SPRAY OF THIN WALLED PIPES

During the production and the repair processes, the protective/reparation layer can be applied by different methods. Welding allied processes are surfacing and thermal spraying. Thermal spraying is a process that gives a very high quality of the surface and as such in most cases does not require sebsequent machining. In this paper, cold process of powder gas metallization will be presented, where the applied tungsten carbide layers will be subjected to microstructure and microhardness testing.
