The paper describes the maintenance of production systems, and discusses the concept of preventive and corrective maintenance. The theoretical foundations of LEAN methodology, and some of the tools used in production systems are presented. The focus of the work is the way the rotor production line functions, as well as the tools used on the line, 5C, Kanban and TPM.
