Abstract

The nature and quantity of pigments in the printing ink define its properties (coloration, persistence, durability, etc.), consistency, visual identity, and price. Also, the final imprint's visual identity depends on the print's quality and durability under environmental conditions. Therefore, the paper evaluated the influence of aging under certain operating conditions on the total number of particles and intervals of particle surfaces in the print of pearlescent pigments using optical microscopy.
