Abstract

This paper presents the development of a web application for supervision and control of a smart lighting system and smart sockets in a home environment. The application is developed in order to monitor, control and reduce energy consumption. Communication between individual smart devices and the server is implemented through the MQTT protocol and the web application is developed using Ignition integrated software platform for SCADA systems.
