Abstract

This paper describes basic concepts of mode-ling Data Warehouse for purpose of tracking and analy­zing retail business process within food industry. Paper also covers basic characteristics of Data Warehouse System. The tool, which is choosen for implementing Data Warehouse is SAP Netweaver 7.5, and it is also described in the paper, as well as its components. After describing chosen tool, the paper describes source system, concep­tual and implementation schema of Data Warehouse and steps of ETL (Extraction, Tranfsormation, Load) process. In the end, the paper covers created reports and steps of creating them.
