INSPECTION OF LIGHTNING PROTECTION SYSTEMS

This Study presents the key elements that form a lightning protection system, as well as importance of it’s regular inspection. Some of the most common earthing resistance measurment methods are shown, with their advantages and disadvantages, including the ways of avoiding wrong measuring results. With one example, earthing resistance measuring results are given along with their interpretation and suggested set of actions to improve the system condition.
