Abstract
The aim of this paper is to demonstrate different approaches to pandemic risk menagement. The paper focuses on the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the economy, social system and the insurance industry. What is the role of the insurance industry in managing the pandemic risk and how should we approach future pandemics from the aspect of insurance sectors and governing bodies.
