This paper discusses the use of computer simulation in the field of computer graphic visualisation of aerodinamic characteristics in aircraft design. The application of the simulation was conducted through a comparative analysis of two computer fluid dynamics software packages on the example of three models of aircraft of the media franchise "Star Wars". The main theme of this work was the influence of aircraft design on the aerodynamic performance and how the modifications in shape affect the final results. The two software environments compared are SimScale CFD and Autodesk CFD. When comparing the software, conclusions were drawn about their advantages and disadvantages through the described user experience. Problems that have arisen and possible improvements are described. The aim of this paper is to present the advantages of using computer simulation technology for the needs of design evaluation and development. At the same time, through software comparative revision, their characterization and classification was performed.
