Abstract

In this paper are presented theoretical bases of design at urgent road maintenance. Also, the term of urgent maintetnance is specificly defined, emphasising the comparation of types of work performed during regular and urgent maintenance. Current legal regulation of road maintenance in the Republic of Serbia was analyzed, as well as the institutional hierarchy in emergency situations. Possible ways of improving road sector’s response in the mentioned circumstances were discussed. A conceptual project for the urgent maintenance of road IB 27, section: Krst - Zavlaka, from km 0+000.00 to km 4+955.00, was prepared.
