APPLICATION OF SENSORS WITHIN THE SHM CONCEPT THROUGH A SOLUTION CREATED USING THE LABVIEW SOFTWARE ENVIRONMENT

The paper presents the importance of using sensors inside measurement devices though the example of their usage within one very important area in constructions known as Structural health monitoring – SHM. Also, the paper presents a system created with the aim to be used to measure significant values inside SHM. It provides measurements like vibration with rarely temperature monitoring. Alarming of the user in case of critical vibrations is possible also, filtering of previous read results, calculating FFT, saving results, their opening or processing inside other softwares.This device is created inside LabVIEW. Triaxial accelerometer PCB-356A32 is a sensor in charge of measuring temperature, while thermocouple acts as temperature sensor.
