Abstract

The paper examines the influence of the inverter DC link capacitor value on the operation of the vector-controlled induction machine drive. The operation of the inverter with the value of the DC Bus capacitor smaller than the optimal is analyzed theoretically and experimentally. Different types of loading are used throughout the experiments.
