ANALYSIS AND IMPROVEMENT OF LOGISTICS PROCESSES IN THE DISTRIBUTION CENTER „UNIVEREXPORT“ IN NOVI SAD

Abstract

This research paper shows the importance of logistics procurement processes, inventory and warehouse management, and their application in the Distribution center „Univerexport“ in Novi Sad. Certain oversights and deficiencies were noticed during the analysis of listed processes. Potential improvement measures are proposed. Steps of improvement are reflected in the improvement of cooperation between sectors, also arranging the space in the warehouse by marking goods at the receiving area, proper selection of suppliers, defining the measures for tracking and solving „dead“ and excessive stocks, buying of new KHT device and introducing modules for filling commission zones.
