The primary function of art galleries was initially to display exhibits. today it is a place to research new technologies to improve the user experience [1]. The advantage of introducing digital technologies, including virtual reality, is allowing the user to experience the full experience of visiting the gallery without physically changing the place. In this paper, the perception of works of art in virtual reality is investigated. In order to better understand the relationships and effects of different spaces in virtual reality on works of art, they are placed in realistic and non-realistic environments. In this process, computer programs were used that enabled the generation of geometry and the development of models for use in virtual reality. The results of the research were obtained in cooperation with the respondents, who were surveyed after the experience in the galleries in virtual reality.
