Abstract

Through this work, the solution of a solar hybrid dryer for drying small-capacity fruits is presented, with the idea of establishing the control of the drying process based on monitoring the temperature and humidity of the air during the drying process. In the introductory part, a brief overview of the potential of solar energy in Vojvodina is given. A short survey of the fruit market and the potential that plum has in our area is also given. The possibilities of application and storage of solar energy are presented, as well as the proposed solution of a solar dryer for drying plums.
