Abstract

This paper features the actualization of the "LED smart lighting for growing aquarium plants" project. The growth and development of plants, through the process of the photosynthesis, is based on the spectrum, the intensity of the light and the illuminance length duration. The mentioned factors were realized by an adequate hardware design and program code.
