ASSESSMENT AND REPAIR OF PRODUCTION HALL IN THE SUGAR FACTORY IN CRVENKA FROM THE ASPECT OF DURABILITY AND CHANGE OF PURPOSE

The paper consist of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part descibes fire hazards in industrial buildings: causes of fire hazards, some of the largest fire hazards, legal regulations for fire protection in industrial buildings. The assessment of the construction of the hall withing the sugar factory „Crvenka“ A.D. was carried out in the practical part. In order to determine the level and cause of demages, as well as the type of repair measures, a detail visual inspection of structural elements was undertaken. Large number of defects and demages has been detected. Based on the analysis of those demages and defects, repair measures were suggested in order to improve the durability of the structure.
