Abstract

The paper represents an analysis of the problem of excess food that occurs in the food supply chain. It demonstrates the importance of redistribution as an integral part of logistics, the importance of relevant participants in the food supply chain, as well as the application of possible solutions in the form of digital platforms for the redistribution of surplus food.
