Abstract

This paper describes a system for measuring blood oxygenation and pulse. The paper presents the process and system of oxygen exchange in the human body and the principle of operation of the pulse oximeter. The design and realization of the system was also presented, i.e. the construction of all hardware compo­nents as well as the programming of the microcontroller for measuring oxygenation and heart rate.
