APPLICATION OF AIRGEL AS THERMAL INSULATION MATERIAL

Abstract

The paper consists of a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part, the research of airgel as a thermal insulation material, its properties and application possibilities is presented. Airgel is a modern material, it is included in the group of energy-efficient materials and as such has an extremely low thermal conductivity coefficient, the lowest density and the lowest sound conductivity. In the practical part, the calculation of the energy efficiency of the building was made, where the innovative material airgel was used as a thermal insulation material.
