Abstract

This paper presents the development of a web application for monitoring and control of a home automation system. The paper gives a short overview of the Internet of Things and Home automation technologies, followed by the description of the developed application, which was built in Ignition platfom, using MQTT and Sparkplug specification as one of the most popular communication protocols used in IoT technologies.
