Abstract

The research topic is the application of cinemagraphs as a website element that contributes both to the practicality of providing the necessary information and to the website's aesthetics, i.e., testing the effectiveness of cinemagraphs using eye-tracking technology. The research investigates whether website users stay longer on moving elements compared to static images of identical content, whether they return to moving content again, and whether the respondents' attention is diverted from other important content if the page contains content with an element of movement.
