A winery or wine cellar is a facility for the production, storage and transfer of wine, partially buried in the ground or underground. The aim of this research is to get acquainted with the process of wine production, to recognize the importance of materialization as well as the factors that influence the quality of lighting and lighting effects. The research work represents the theoretical basis for setting up the conceptual architectural solution of the winery.
