DESIGN, PRODUCTION AND TESTING OF A BITE FORCE SENSOR, BASED ON AN EDIBLE HYDROGEL

This paper describes the method of design, fabrication and testing of a bite force sensor, based on an edible hydrogel, hydroxyethylcellulose + fructose + water. The focus of this paper was primarily on the hydrogel, its role and behaviour in the sensor, after which the whole transducer. For the rest of the sensor (analog-digital converter, connection with a computer, signal processing), Arduino Nano Every was used, modifed by a voltage divider.
