The subject of this Master’s Thesis is the development od a conceptual solution for draining atmospheric water using EPA SWMM software package. After terrain analysis, in compliance with the urban plans, the canal network was laid out. Based on climatic data, the hydraulic calculation of the obtained model was preformed for rainfall whose recurrence period is two years and duration 20 minutes, for different runoff coefficients of pervious surfaces, and the results were analyzed. Then, the same model was performed for rainfall whose recurrence period is five years. Hydraulic calculations were performed using dynamic wave and kinematic wave calculation methods. At the end, a comparative presentation of the results of the hydraulic analysis of the model for rainfalls of the same duration, but different recurrence period.
