Abstract

In this paper an electric power system and the application of power busbar system of copper conductors in switchyards is presented. The analysis of magnetic field, current density, and thermal effects of the copper rail conductors was performed. The simulation of these quantities was done in the COMSOL Multiphysics 5.5 software package, which solves partial differential equations using the finite element method.
