FUNDS AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF SME SECTOR
Abstract
Small and medium-sized enterprises represent a siginificant economic segment of the national economy, primarily because of its entrepreneurial activity. SMEs are vital actors for the improvement of innovation, competitiveness, entrepreneurship and the establishment of an efficient innovation system for developing countries. The research work aims to examine how much SMEs know about programs and funds for supporting business development, and based on the obtained data, to make suggestions for better use of available funding sources.
