Abstract

The paper presents the development of PROFINET protocol on Hardware  In the Loop (HIL) devices. The characteristics and specifics of the PROFINET protocol are given. The realization of the application and the graphical interface for PROFINET, the way of configuring devices in the TIA Portal, as well as the way of establishing communication between devices, are described. The correctness of the implemented protocol in the Typhoon HIL programming environment was tested, and the results of the PROFINET protocol testing were given.
