The topic of this research is finding an efficient and cost-effective process of creating a scale model of a larger urban area. The research includes testing different approaches to generating a digital model of the city and it’s fabrication, by using laser engraving and 3d printing techniques, so that the end result is a larger-scale physical model of the city.
