Abstract

The main theme of the paper is the reconstruc­tion, renovation, extension and change of purpose of the existing building of the police station in Kula to a museum and library. Paper also engeage with research, conception and adaptation of public cultural space into a facility whose original purpose was administration. As part of the project were analyzed aspects of the self-sustainability of the new spaces and the way of adapting them to the needs of modern society.
