ANALYSIS AND APPLICATION OF 3D DATA MODELS FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF 3D GEOPORTALS

3D modeling enables a faithful representation of reality and the visualization of geometric data in realistic way. This paper presents the creation of 3D models in the Civil 3D programming environment and the integration of openBIM standards into the geospatial domain for the development of 3D geoportals using Google Earth and Cesium.
