Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has triggered a global crisis with a high number of cases and fatalities. This paper explores the use of lung images obtained through computer tomography (CT) for the rapid detection of the virus, employing deep learning and various convolutional neural network (CNN) models. The paper analyzes previous solutions, convolutional neural networks theory, describes model implementation, and presents the obtained results.
