Abstract

In an increasingly competitive global environment, cities are adopting different strategies to achieve competitive advantage. This thesis contains scientific research on the impact of major events as a key component of the strategy for urban and economic development of cities and proposes a strategy for Novi Sad as the potentional host of the Eurovision Song Contest, with the long-term development of the city and the achievement of sustainable progress in the future.
