Abstract

The paper presents the cogeneration plant at the "Jug" heating plant in Novi Sad, which is part of the "Novosadska toplana" . The "Jug" heating plant has a hot water preparation system, where cogeneration has found its good application due to the year-round need for thermal energy. The paper describes the principle of operation, connection and key equipment of the cogeneration plant. Also presented is the energy balance of the plant in operation, as well as the profitability of the investment.
