Abstract

The subject of the work is the study of the impact of conflicts in traditional as well as in modern organization. Initially, in the theoretical part of the work, an introduction to Human Resource Management has been made, followed by a part about the very concept and phases of conflict, causes, types, as well as about the emotions that are present during the conflict and its consequences. The conclusion of the work is at the same time the conflict management itself, which is of great importance for the success of the organization. The second part of the work is research. The survey was conducted among the employees of two companies: Elektrovojvodina, a state-owned company with the outlines of traditional business, and Yettel, a modern private company. Hypotheses were put forward that were confirmed or challenged against the results of the conducted survey.
