THE IMPACT OF ERP SYSTEMS AND INTEGRATION TOOLS IN INDUSTRY 4.0
Abstract
The paper presents an analysis of the links between ERP system integration, Industry 4.0, and practical application in the IT industry. Through a systematic literature review, implementation methodologies and techniques were analyzed, providing a deeper insight into the theoretical framework. A questionnaire was then conducted among IT professionals, providing real-world insights into the challenges and benefits they experienced working with integration tools. Finally, an application was developed to track inventory and work orders, integrating Industry 4.0 principles to improve operational processes.
