INTEGRATION AND APPLICATION OF BIM AND LEAN METHODOLOGIES ON CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS
Abstract
Compared to other industries, the construction industry has been experiencing a decline in productivity for years. One of the key causes of this slowdown and numerous losses on construction projects are communication problems, or the exchange of information. This paper covers two different initiatives, both BIM and Lean methodologies, which have a significant impact on the construction industry, as well as the benefits of their joint implementation on construction projects to improve key factors that are contributing to the decline in productivity.Top of Form
