The basis for the technical inspection of elecrtic lifts from the perspective of safety and occupational health

Abstract

The introductory part of the paper presents the historical development of elevators, which represent a significant means of transporting people and goods. Special attention is given to electrically powered elevators. The basic elements and their operation are described, with a focus on safety components. Additionally, the paper lists the most significant incident situations, along with corrective measures aimed at reducing the risk of accidents. Finally, the importance of elevator inspection and testing is emphasized for user safety and system functionality maintenance.
