CIRCULAR ECONOMY IN THE CONTEXT OF TEXTILE INDUSTRY
Abstract
This paper describes the conceptual connection of the circular economy and its application in the textile industry, with the aim of achieving a higher level of sustainable development. General definitions of the circular economy and its application in the textile industry were presented, and the emphasis was placed on data related to the consumption and impact of textiles, especially clothing items on the environment and consumption of world resources, production and later impact in waste managment.
