RESEARCH ON THE IMPACT OF FRICTION MODELS ON THE CHARACTERISTICS OF COMBINED EXTRUSION PROCESSES THROUGH NUMERICAL SIMULATIONS

In this paper characteristics of combined extrusion processes were researched through numerical simulations. Simulations were modelled after experimental setup and later their results were compared. Characteristics that were investigated are geometrical characteristics of finished part and Force-stroke diagram.
